Clifton Fire Station

119 King Street, Clifton, 4361

The primary provider of fire and emergency services in the Southern Downs.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) is the primary provider of fire and emergency services in the Southern Downs.

We deliver this through our Fire and Rescue Service (FRS), Rural Fire Service (RFS), and State Emergency Service (SES).

Our role is to provide leadership, mitigation planning, and a responsive service to ensure the safety of the Queensland community.

We aim to protect people, property, and the environment through the continued delivery of emergency services, awareness programs, response capability and capacity, and incident response and recovery for a safer Queensland.

QFES acknowledges and recognises Traditional Owners as custodians of the lands where we work together with the communities of Queensland. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of these lands, their spirits, and their legacy.

We are committed to inclusive communities.

In an emergency, call Triple Zero (000).

Hearing and/or speech impaired people may use the National Relay Service (NRS) to contact emergency services.
