Enjoy each other's company and the morning tea we break for during the morning.
The group was started by ladies who just wanted to chat and craft.
While we do not currently run workshops there are ladies who are able and willing to help those who would like to learn a new craft or become more proficient at a craft they are already doing.
There is no pressure to actually do some craft, if you need to just sit and chat, that is fine. Some of the ladies have sought out avenues for using the crafts they can do, hence some have been involved in making trauma teddies, bootees for the children's hospital and goods for others to distribute in isolated areas.
Only those who wish to be involved in this, do so.
The group is totally for its members and thus it operates even during school holidays with just a 4-week break over Christmas and New Year. There is no expectation of how often a person attends, while some attend nearly every week others come very occasionally.
All are welcomed.
