Prior to picking up an impounded animal, all releasing fees are to be paid to at a Council Administration Office.
Council Administration Offices are open between the hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
Owners will be given a receipt and must take the receipt to the pound for the release of their animal.
Animals will not be released on weekends or public holidays.
There are private Impoundments drop-off boxes at both pound facilities for dogs and cats and are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The pound can take livestock and other animals.
