The Delltones have been a household name in Australia for five decades.

The Delltones have been a household name in Australia for five decades, having performed thousands of professional shows across Australia and overseas and featuring music from the 50’s and 60’s.

They have had several big hits in Australia including “Hangin 5”, “Come a Little Bit Closer”, “Get a Little Dirt on your Hands” and “Get a Job”.  The Delltones have also released many albums over the last five decades.

Pee Wee Wilson was a great showman who was an inspiration to their show as he had a huge bass voice with a timbre that very few singers could claim.

After retiring from show business in 2015, Pee Wee has been writing several books about the history of The Delltones which are now on sale.

In 2017 Andre Els, musician and promotor decided to put the show back together again with several of the past Delltone members. These include Danny Mayers who was the lead singer with The Delltones for over 20 years and Woody Finlayson who was the lead guitarist with the Delltones for over 30 years.

They now perform as “A TRIBUTE TO THE DELLTONES” and are joined by several other hand-picked musicians who bring a wealth of talent and experience to the show. Together they perform the catalogue of songs from the original Delltones, bringing back those beautiful harmonies that The Delltones are so well known for.

Recently, “A Tribute to the Delltones” has started working on another show featuring the greatest hits of Cliff Richard and The Shadows called “THE CLIFF RICHARD EXPERIENCE”. They will be performing around Australia in 2023 and are booked as one of the headlines acts on board the Blue Suede Cruise rock cruise. “A Tribute to the Delltones” will also be touring Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania in the coming year.
