
Festival of Small Halls has announced that Paddy McHugh and Sue Ray will be the guests of ten communities on the September Resilience Tour 2021: Queensland’s Southern Downs.
Presented by veteran festival producers Woodfordia Inc., the twenty-second edition of the much-loved not-for-profit music tour is taking on a sharp short ten-stop tour schedule with the finest of Queensland’s home-grown talent to Southern Downs community halls. The Resilience Tour seeks to leverage the power of music to bring people together for the purposes of recovery from natural disasters.
The Freestone Memorial Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Keinjan people and the Gidhabul people on Bundjalung Country.
No matter what the building has been called, it has hosted many a meeting, concert, dance, cabaret, family celebration, commemorative event, etc. throughout its 119-year history, and it very much looks forwards to welcoming the Festival of Small Halls.
