Harrigans lane is a special place, an eastern escarpment in the granite belt between Stanthorpe and Tenterfield - a beautiful part of the world. Hosts Jocelyn and Bruce invite you to join them there for a laid-back afternoon of music. Please BYO picnic rug, folding chair, food, and drinks. There will be some local wines for sale.
For one afternoon only, three-time Queensland Music Award winners MZAZA bring their stunning blend of folk to this special setting for you to enjoy from the comfort of your picnic rug.
French-Sephardic vocalist Pauline Maudy leads this tight band of brilliant musicians to create a musical ride like none you’ve experienced before. Following a suite of Australian and international tours, MZAZA is excited to deliver this relaxed concert in a beautiful setting.
Don't miss an opportunity to catch these warm and consummate performers whose harmonies, accordion, exotic strings, guitar, double bass and percussion will make you travel.
Songlines Magazine calls their third album, The Birth and Death of Stars, “a cross-genre cornucopia, a giver of gifts both aural and cerebral... A supernova of an album”.
MZAZA is offering free singing and instrumental workshops for all levels on Friday 14/04 in Tenterfield thanks to support from Tenterfield Regional Council! Find out more and register here.
Joining MZAZA is Paddy McHugh. Paddy is a folk/punk troubadour whose work stems from the great storytelling traditions. With an infectious energy and a big heart, his delivery is honest, poignant, and vivid. He is an accomplished musician and songwriter with a music career spanning two decades across country, folk, and rock.
This event is sponsored by Harrigans Lane Collective. Find out more about what they do and the property here.
