Viva Italia!
The band will be performing a diverse program of the Italian repertoire, ranging from Opera, Film, Classical, and Brass Band genres.
The haunting music of The Godfather, the beautiful Intermezzo from the opera Cavaleria Rusticana, Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances, and the lively Florentina March will appeal to everyone’s tastes.
The Musical Director Mr Phil Ryan will be featured in the cornet solo Napoli, which will showcase his virtuosity on the instrument.
The band will perform Con te Partiro (Time to say goodbye) made famous by Andrea Bocelli and more famous Italian operatic arias. Another favourite Italian song, O Sole Mio, made famous by Pavarotti, will also be featured.
